The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
The London School of Economics and Political Science is unique in the United Kingdom in its concentration on research and teaching across the full range of the social, political and economic sciences. In the last UK Government Research Assessment Exercise in 2001, the School's research was ranked overall second among more than 200 universities and colleges, surpassing that of Oxford and only second to Cambridge. The LSE is Europe's leading social sciences university and has been home to 13 Nobel Prize winners and 28 past and present heads of state.
The LSE faculty, like its postgraduate and doctoral students, is unusually international in composition, giving the School a unique insight into research and studies in an international and comparative context. More than 500 academic and research staff work in 19 Departments, 27 Research Centres and 5 Interdisciplinary Institutes, making LSE's strength in depth second to none in its respective fields.

LSE Executive Education
LSE Executive Education is part of Enterprise LSE Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of LSE. It provides executive education based on the considerable expertise of LSE academics in economics, politics and the social sciences. LSE Executive Education has a wealth of experience in designing, delivering and managing international executive education projects involving world-leading LSE experts.
LSE Executive Education designs tailor made executive education programmes, around the specific needs of its clients and participants. Distinct from business schools, LSE Executive Education does not narrowly concentrate on teaching students fashionable management techniques, but works to help participants think globally and independently, taking into account the environment in which their organisations operate, and facilitating them in designing and choosing the necessary tools for management.
